Getting to Uganda          About Uganda

The Entebbe international Airport Uganda is linked to all major cities and airlines all over the world for both passenger and cargo handling services. Uganda flight providers include British Airways, SN-brussels, Kenya airways, Air Tanzania, Ethiopian Airways, Emirates, Rwanda air , Egypt Air and East African Airways.The local flights are provided by Eagle air,Dairo air and United airlines.The Iternational airport is located in Entebbe (EBB) about 35 km (22 miles) southwest of Kampala. Coach services to Kampala depart every three hours (0800-1800). Bus services depart every two hours (0800-1600). Taxis are also available. Transit passengers and children under two years of age are exempt. There is some question as to whether border crossing may be made at the border of Uganda/Sudan and at Uganda/DRC. Both of these crossings are dicey and you will need to ask around to see if they are open and if you are able to cross there.
